Bowling Green Keeps Title With Sweep

BOWLING GREEN— Bowling Green captain Paul Titanic scored four goals, two each game, to pace the Central Collegiate Hockey Association regular season champion Falcons to 5-3 and 6-4 wins over Ohio State in the two-game, total-goal, playoff championship. The series score was 11-7. Titanic, a senior from Toronto, Ont., was named CCHA player-of-the-week, for his goal scoring against the Buckeyes. The veteran left-winger has picked up where he left off last season when he scored eight goals in seven playoff games including the game winning goal in three contests. Titanic may have scored the key goal in the playoffs against OSU in the second period of the opener as he connected on a penalty shot to tie the game at 2-2.
