WHA WEEK
… In Review QUEBEC CITY— You could say Real Cloutier is a 20-year-old with no heart. He's virtually killing the opposition. The red hot right winger of the Quebec Nordiques has fired six goals in three games to raise his league leading point total to 25 after just 11 games. The previous fastest that any player has scored 25 points was 14 games when Wayne Dillon was playing for the Toronto Toros in 1974-75. The Quebec City native's 15 goals in just 11 games knocks two games off the previous fastest record, held jointly by Bobby Hull (1974-75) and Vaclav Nedomansky (1975-76). The WHA has, without a doubt, the two best young right wingers playing hockey today in “Buddy'' Cloutier and 19-year-old Mark Napier of Birmingham. Napier is second in the league goal scoring derby…

CANADA HOLDS BACK ON SHIELDS FOR ALL
OTTAWA— Canadian youngsters may be a year away from being required to wear a protective face mask in hockey games. The Canadian Standard Association says it is very close to adopting a face shield they feel will best stand up to the pressures of today's hockey and the announcement could come in early January. Big Rollins' Arrival Help To Little Ftorek
PHOENIX— Jerry Rollins arrived just in time. One wire service story claimed Roadrunner center Robbie Etorek is the shortest player in the World Hockey Association at five-foot-five. That would mean that opposition hatchet men had cut the Boston-born “Superflea” down by four inches. At 149 pounds, he is the smallest or lightest player in the WHA, and therefore the necessity for someone like Rollins in the lineup. Coach Al Rollins, who is also Jerry's father, made no bones about why Jerry had been acquired from Birmingham for right wing Dave Gorman. “Everybody knows,” says Rollins, “that Robbie is our meal ticket,” he said of the first American-born player to top 100 points in major league hockey, the first WHA player to top the century mark in both points and penalties in a single season, the most…
