CLEVELAND— One of the main reasons the Crusaders are still in the crazy World Hockey Association East Division race stands 5’11”, weighs around 190 pounds, plays at center ice and answers to the name of Jim Harrison. This 28-year-old native of Bonnyville, Alberta has done it all for the C’s this season. You name it and he’s done it. Acquisition Of Hogaboam, Jensen Gives North Stars Speed Up Front
TWIN CITIES— The Minnesota North Stars spent the busiest week of the season, at least off the ice. the last seven days in February with an other major rostershakeup. In a span of 72 hours, the North Stars put center Dennis Hextall on the trading block, signed U.S. Olympian Steve Jensen and then traded Hextali to the Detroit Red Wings for center Bill Hogaboam and a future draft choice. Hmgaboam joined the North Stars after scoring 21 goals and 16 assists for the Red Wings, and promptly contributed two assists in helping beat the Rangers 5-3 in Minnesota’s first home victory in a month.
