Bruins Talking Trade For Goaler As Goals Fly By

BOSTON— The Bruins have been talking trade around the league in the person of new Managing Director Harry Sinden, and their efforts were redoubled in the goaltending area when Ross Brooks suffered a broken left collarbone in practice. Brooks, backup goaler to Eddie Johnston since the loss of Gerry Chee vers to the WHA, had won two and tied two before he was shelved for what may well be two months. He took a hard shot on the left clavicle from the stick of Mike Walton during a fast-shooting drill in Boston Garden and was rushed to nearby Massachusetts General Hospital in great pain.
