Four Rangers Eye All Star Berths

NEW YORK— It’s that time of year again. All Star time. The ballots for the 1971-72 mid season classic at Minnesota will be tabulated soon. First team choices loom for Brad Park, Vic Hadfield, Rod Gilbert and maybe even Jean Ratelle. in NHL East balloting. Jean, of course, is perhaps the best Ranger of them all, but his position, center, has one Phillip Esposito in competition. With Espo and Ratelle going head and head for the scoring title, Jean can get no worse than second. Recently, in a 1-1 tie with Minnesota, Ratelle popped his 200th career NHL goal. He is already at the twenty plateau and should easily double that. Park had rebounded from a poor playoff series last year, when he was playing hurt. He is once again challenging Bobby Orr…
