Rousseau Disappointed With Start
TWIN CITIES— So much was expected of him this season by the Minnesota fans and management, but for Bobby Rousseau, it has been an autumn of despair and disappointment. Rousseau was obtained by the North Stars last summer from Montreal in the trade for Claude Larose, a deal that aroused as much dismay in ‘Montreal as excitement in the Twin Cities. GREENSBORO— If the Greensboro Generals are going to show improvement in their current gait, it has to be from its third or rookie line in their inaugural Eastern Hockey League season. Charlottes great-start has been helped by the outstanding play of its rookie line, and Green boro skipper, Ron Spong would like to emulate that success with his own trio of youngsters. So far his trio of Jeff Nicholson, Brian Randall and John Cowley has shown the potential but has yet to hit the heights of Charlotte’s threesome.
