Bisons Roll With ‘Hot’ Rood Record
BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Bisons had the best road show in the early portion of the American Hockey League season, and Coach Fred Shero was hopeful of having a schedule-long hit. The Herd was unbeaten in four road games with three wins and a tie. At home, the Bisons won two and lost two of their first four, and were leading the Western Division. At the moment the Bears boast the most potent scoring line in professional hockey — from the NHL to the Central circuit — in wingers Michel Harvey and Chuck Hamilton and centerman Gil Gilbert. The trio combined for 48 points in eight starts on 19 goals and 29 assists. Gilbert’s on top with a log of 8-9-17, then comes Harvey…
