DeJordy Brothers Both Strike Gold
HERSHEY, Pa.— This is the year of the DeJordys in professional ice hockey. Roger, 29, left winger for the Hershey Bears is well on his way to winning the American League scoring championship. Meanwhile, the kid brother, Denis, 28, Chicago Black Hawks goalie, is back-stopping the Windy City out fit to its first National League championship in the club’s 41 year existence in the major circuit. Hershey hasn’t won an Eastern Division title in 15 years, but the goal sniping of Roger could finally bring the crown to the Pennsylvania outfit. At the 59 game mark, Roger had blinked the light 45 times to pace the loop. Pointwise, he had 74 to deadlock veteran Willie Marshall.
