Fred Podesta To Head New N.Y. Garden Attractions

NEW YORK. N.Y. — The formation of Madison Square Garden At tractons, Inc., with Fred J. Podesta named presid ent, was announced by Irving Mitchell Felt, Chairman of the Board of Madison Square Garden Corporation. The new company will handle all Garden television and radio activities and book entertainment features for showing in Madison Square Garden and elsewhere in the world. For over 25 years, Podesta has served in various executive capacities with the Garden and has been assistant to the president, Ned Irish, for the past six years.
