Bobby Hull Does Everything Well Says Coach Reay
MONTREAL, Que.— Bobby Hull has been blasting away with both barrels, averaging two goals per game, and making such a noise that he has had everybody looking and also wondering when he’s going to let up. It was pointed out to Billy Reay, coach of the Chicago Black Hawks, that if he keeps going like that he’ll wind up with 140 goals at the end of the 70-game schedule. Billy smiled. “Nobody does that,” he said. “But he should have a great year if he can avoid injuries and not run into too many dry spells. The Player Of The Week
Big league hockey fans haven’t heard too much about young Doug Robinson since he came into the NHL but the betting is that they will be quite familiar with this dynamic left winger in the near future. Robinson, who is only 24, has jumped into the lead among the scorers on the New York Rangers with five points in three games and his play has been scintillating for the Blues. Acquired from the Chicago Black Hawks last year in a multiple player trade, Robinson is rapidly making his mark with the Rangers. He fits into the new club pattern of young legs and he has justified the faith the New York club put in him when they lured him away from the Hawks. Combining on a line with newcomer Gary Peters and fiery…
