SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF Max McNabs Vancouver canucks have been on a little spree lately, and much of the good happenings are the result of just one player addition — Dan Belisle. ROCHESTER N. Y, — A goal to attain a goal was the ’oal achieved by Dick Gamble if the Rochester Americans recently. Confusing? Not really. When the veteran left winger scored late in the first period here against Quebec on Dec. 15. it was the254th of his American Hockey League career and gave him sole possession of ninth place on the. Troubles Mounting For Hunt As Bisons Continue Nose Dive

BUFFALO, N.Y.- ’Twas a couple of nights before Christmas, and before a near barren house the Buffalo Bisons had absorbed a 5-3 defeat at the hands of the Hershey Rears. For the Bisons, the defending Calder Cup champions, it was the ninth loss against four wins and a tie at home, and the 11th defeat in their last 15 games. Fred “Hunt, troubled general manager of the troubled Bisons, sat on a bench in the quiet of the Buffalo dressing quarters. “Everybody worked.
