Bucyk, Oliver Watch Finale From Stands
BOSTON, Mass.— Both of Boston’s big scoring guns, Murray Oliver and Johnny Bucyk, watched the 1962-63 finale from the grandstand last weekend. Bucyk, the Bruins’ No. 1 scorer with 66 points, injured his shoulder against New York in the club’s next-to-last game of the year when he was slammed into a goal post. Oliver, No. 2 man with 62 points, went out earlier with a leg injury. To plug the gaps the Bruins elevated Jeannot Gilbert and Wayne Connelly from their EPHL farm club at Kingston, Ont.…
