Some has been good and some has virtually singed little Camille’s ears. Next week in THE HOCKEY NEWS, Henry will get his chance to speak his mind when New York correspondent Stan Fischier and the Rangers’ star sit down to a frank and open question and answer interview. It should make interesting reading. Don’t miss it.…

Ivan Doesn’t Figure Hawks To Fade
CHICAGO, Ill.— With the Chicago Black Hawks still in first place after the first 42 games of the National Hockey League season. General Manager Tommy Ivan commented: “Can we finish first at the end of the season? I don’t see why we should fade out. We’ve played pretty steady hockey. If we get the same consistency the rest of the year, I’ll be satisfied.” The Black Hawks have reported four crowds of over 16,000 so far this season — the largest in the NHL. The first one came Nov. 24 against Detroit — 16,107. The next was on Dec. 9 against Montreal — 16,240. There were two in early January: 16,497 (the largest crowd) on Jan. 6 against Toronto, and 16,004 on Jan. 13 against Montreal. The Hawk record for those four games…

Coach Migay Back On Bench Seeking Ways To End Amerks’ Slide, Cheevers, Jarrett Cut
ROCHESTER, N.Y.— This may be the best season for sleigh-riding, but the Rochester Americans already have done enough sliding for one winter. Little did the Amerks realize the tough sledding that was in store for them after they skated off last Dec. 9 with their seventh victory against only two defeats and one tie in their previous 10 starts. Once they began coasting downhill, there seemed to be no end to the slide. The Americans had to play 860 minutes of hockey before they were able to collect another victory — on Jan. 13. In between, Rochester plunged to 11 losses while showing two points for a brace of ties as the only plus factor. Before this all started, the Americans were in comfortable shape in the American League’s Western Division. After games of Dec.…
