Kingston Puts Up Strong ‘Sinden For MVP’ Fight
KINGSTON, Ont.— If Harry Sinden isn’t named the most valuable player in the Eastern Professional Hockey League this season, there will be loud cries of anguish from Wren Blair. Blair, manager-coach of the Kingston Frontenacs, does not hesitate to tell you he feels Sinden should be a shoo-in for the coveted award. And, when you look at Sinden’s record, you start to think that maybe Blair isn’t just talking through his hat. Sinden has already eclipsed two scoring records for defencemen this season and he’s Frontenacs leader on and off the ice. Some people are suggesting that Boston Bruins, sponsors of the Kingston team, should elevate him to the National League.
