The three team loop appears to have overcome its trials and tribulations, and with fingers crossed, together with a bit of luck, the paying customer can look forward to some long overdue “good hockey.” The three team circuit has given all indications it will be a fight to the wire. As this is being written, all teams are tied for first place. Once the newly formed Kelowna-Penticton combines get to know each other, they will be a threat for league honors. Lacking the necessary defensive, and goaltending strength, combine playing coach Jim Middleton feels confident three of the leagues former top blueliners, will step of out retirement, and join the combines ranks.
