MONTREAL, Que. — Boom Boom Geoffrion, who is well scarred himself, left a lasting scar on the Toronto Maple Leafs in the final three games of the NHL Stanley Cup finals. Geoffrion, in deep pain throughout the second half of the season came on against the Leafs and played like the Boomer of old. He was skating, carrying the puck and shooting with all of the zest and tremendous determination that has made him one of the game’s greatest during the past five seasons. In three games Geoffrion picked up three goals and four assists. In the final two he scored a winning goal and set up the winner. He was so dangerous everytime he took the puck into the Toronto end that the Leafs at times stood around and watched…

Top Scorer Rookie Marc Boileau and the veteran Rudy Filion of Seattle lead the individual scorers on the playoffs with 12 points each. Boileau has the most goals, 7, and team and linemate Bill MacFarland has the most assists, 8. Scored First Twice Bev Bentley, of Seattle, with a goals-against average of 1.75 in eight games leads the goalkeepers. Bruce Gamble, of Vancouver had two shutouts.
