Milt Picks Henri as Biggest Problem for Bruins To Handle In Stanley Cup Playoffs
BOSTON, Mass.— Milt Schmidt of the Bruins chose Henri Richard of Montreal as “our biggest problem” in the final round of the Stanley Cup playoffs. “He’s the hardest for us to handle,” said the Bruins’ coach of the little Montreal center. “He didn’t hurt us with his scoring because he didn’t do much of that but he’s a going concern for them. Irvin’s Picture To Be Placed On Hobs’ Room Wall
MONTRCAL, Que.—In reviewing Canadiens’ great success during the past Five years general manager Frank Seiko of the Montreal club paid tribute to the late Dick Irvin. Irvin, who passed away a year ago coached the club for 15 seasons and was instrumental in bringing many of the club’s greats along. Selke told a television audience that he will have a portrait of Irvin placed on the wall of the club’s dressing room. It will be the only picture in the room.…
