They include Dickie and Jimmy (AHL) Moore, Jerry and Zellio (AHL) Toppazzini, Dick and Les (AHL) Duff, Johnny and Larry (AHL) Wilson. Hockey Oldies Now Rivals As Playoff Coaches In AHL

SPRINGFIELD, Mass.— The Springfield—Cleveland playoff series includes two of the most experienced men in hockey—and they skate opposite each other as playingcoaches. One is Cal Gardner, a 33—year-old wonder who ranks as Springfield’s most valuable player. The other is Jackie Gordon, a 30-year-old smoothie who plays best’ when the big money is on the line. They rank among the real veterans in both the National and American Leagues. Only Maurice Richard of Montreal, Fernie Flaman and Harry Lumley of Boston, Harry Watson of Buffalo, and Tony Leswick of Detroit have been around longer than Gardner. Watson. Buffalo’s playing-coach, is the oldest veteran. He started in 1941-42.
