St. Kitts, Marlboros And Hamilton Lose Personnel

GUELPH, Ont. — Hamilton Tiger-Cubs ate minus the services of Howie Young for six games; St. Kitts are getting along without Matt Ravlich for three games and Marlboros defense is short Ian Anderson for two games as the first, and it’s hoped the last, suspensions of the junior season were handed out by the OHA executive. Young was suspended for kicking Marlboro’s Carl Brewer in a game played in Toronto on Sunday November 3rd. The incident occured after Young charged Duke’s Bill Kennedy and was on his way to the penalty box. Anderson who was already in the cooler came out of the box to challenge Young and the two got into a stick-swinging duel. The kicking Incident happened after Brewer joined in the fracas. MONTREAL, Que. — Conservative skippers in the Quebec Hockey League looked upon third place as their horizon at the start of the season. Phil Renauld who was re-appointed for a second term only a few days before training-camp opened thought this might be a safe harbor upon which to speculate.
