SAULT ST. MARIE. Ont.— The controversial Marcel Clements case took another turn with the ruling by the OHA they would not interfere with the NOHA edict declaring him the property of Sault Ste. Chicago GM Says Other NHL Clubs Shun Trade Talk

CHICAGO, Ill.— Chicago General Manager Bill Tobin, disgusted with the results of numerous efforts to get reinforcements for the sagging Black Hawks, has blasted the tactics of other pro clubs as unfair. “I have traveled thousands of miles and spent hundreds of dollars in phone calls without being able to make a single deal,” he said. “I’ve gone to them all. Jimmy Norris told me, “You know what my bankroll is—go get a hockey team and that’s exactly what I have tried to do, but no one seems interested in what we have to offer.
