Senators May Miss Frederick But TeePee Says He’s Through
Mystery Shrouds Row Which Caused Slip OTTAWA, Ont.— Ray Frederick, the young fellow who was just about sixty per cent of the Ottawa Senator hockey team last year, may not even be playing the game this season. The stylish goalie, is sometimes known as Peck’s bad boy of hockey, has incurred the wrath of owner T. P. Gorman by refusing to sign a contract and appears to have been banished to the outer regions. NEW YORK, N.Y.— As early as the Rangers’ second game, manager, coach and chief bottle washer Frank Boucher was aware that his new rookie movement was a success. It had to be, for a most unusual thing happened. The Rangers won. Due to ah unhappy set of circumstances, each year the Broadway Blues must tour the circuit before they are allowed to play at home. While the rodeo takes over Madison Square Garden, the Blues have to buck the tide elsewhere. As a result, it is customary for them to open at home in last place. This year, because of the immediate production of the rookies, New York is more hopeful. After losing at the start in Detroit, which was to be expected, the Rangers won in Chicago, which wasn’t to be expected. Last…
