versatile Metro prystal of the Detroit Red Wings had himself a pretty good week. He Scored three goals and added four assists in three games and missed the only game the Wings last. As Player-of-the-week he will also receive o’Keefe’s silver mug award. Prystai has been a valuable man to the Wings this season, but because he ploys in so many different positions he does not get his recognition as a star. They are inclined to overlook him because he is regarded as a utility player — a trouble shooter who can fill in when and where needed. Because he has never played one position long enough it is doubtful too that he will be considered for all-s.ardom. aChough at Detroit he is considered the best all around player in the…

Harvey Eats Ugly Pills, Belts His Opponents - - Not All By The Book
Doug Making Rapid Bid For Ail-Stardom, Hates to Lose, It Doesn’t Show Outwardly MONTREAL, Que.— An all business Doug Harvey showed his horns in the League last week and those who I used to comI tare him with 1 hat tame, harmless good natured ficticious rabbit, from the play of the same name, were mystified about the change. Harvey batted three for four if you’re a baseball fan, koed three opponents in four matches if you’re a boxing fan and provided company for the men who sew up hockey players on three occasions, if you’re a hockey fan. He was, for the first time in his career, dangerous as a hockey player. Now, Harvey has always been a dangerous player as a good blocking and puck carrying rearguard. But this was the…
