Record Wrecker
ONTREAL, Que.— Eddie Dartnell of Ottawa Senators smashed all existing records as he romped home with a total of 116 scoring points to capture the Quebec Senior ‘Hockey League individual scoring-championship. Dartnell finished five points ahead of teammate Bill Robinson and Tony Demers of Sherbrooke. He also set a new goal-scoring record by boosting his total to 54 for the season. Last Day’s Play May Decide Race In AHL Thriller

FOUR WITHIN THREE! Breathing right on the necks of the leaders are Bob Davidson’s Pittsburgh Hornets. After…

Player-Of-The-Week
Terrific Ted Lindsay, Detroit Red Wings’ N.H.L. All-Star left winger a year ago, is the Player-Of-The-Week and winner of the Morgan Award. The stocky Detroit winger scored two goals and assisted in four others during the past week to bring his scoring total up to 22 goals and 26 assists for 48 points. As a result of his six point scoring splurge, Lindsay climbed into fourth place among the loop ‘s leading scorers. Top goal-getter in the National League last season with 33 tallies, Ted is finishing with a great burst this year and is determined to regain his berth on the All-Star team. Lindsay picked up his six points in only two games. He notched a goal and assisted in three others against Toronto Maple Leafs on March 9 and…
