Pat Lundy of the Indianapolis Capitals in the American Hockey League is an expert bookkeeper and follows this occupation during the off season. However, the way Lundy scored goals on Jan. 7 and 9 even an expert like himself must have had a time keeping them recorded properly. Player-Of-The-Week
Norman (Bud) Poile, who came to the Detroit Red Wings this year in a trade with the Chicago Black Hawks tor Jim Conacher, had himself quite a week-end, scoring foqr goals and assisting in one to pace his club to a twin triumph. On this performance he has been selected by THE HOCKEY NEWS as the Player-Of-The-Week and thus wins the Morgan Hat Award. As a result of his scoring splurge, Poile moved up to a fifth place tie with Gus Bodnar of Chicago in the individual scoring race. He began his scoring spree in Montreal on Saturday night where he collected two goals and continued the following evening against Boston where he tallied twice and picked up an assist.
