Western Senior Quakers, Stamps Having Troubles
CALGARY, Alta.— The Western Canada Senior Hockey League started off this season in much the same fashion as last term. The defending Allan Cup champion Edmonton Flyers appear just as powerful as last year while Regina Capitals, under the able direction of Art Somers, will take plenty of beating this year. Right at the start of the season Coach Bobby Kirk Was fired and manager Burt Scharfe handed in his resignation. Kirk was replaced by Bill Hunter, former pilot of Regina Caps. If Hunter can come up with half the promises he has made, Quakers will do all right but if he doesn’t the club will be a poor drawing card. Stamps Lagging Things are not going any too…

Ontario Hockey Data
It’s hard to believe, yet it’s true. Last season he was discarded, forgotten, by the hockey parade. This season he is once again the toast of the hockey fans. That part was ok but when “Flash” sought to play as an amateur, the red-tape that involves the Canadian Amateur Hockey Association and the NHL (when it comes to getting reinstatements), he found that his last professional club said “No.” Hollett remained…
