—EDMONTON, Alta.— Allan Cup hungry — only once before in the 40 odd years of the cup’s history had it rested in the Alberta capitol — Edmonton hockey fans turned out “en masse” last season and were amply rewarded as Edmonton Flyers brought home the coveted hardware. Fans were Solidly behind the Edmonton entry in the Western Canada Hockey League—close to 60,000 turned out for the victory celebration—and anyone who even breathes that the bauble will not be here for some time to come is guilty of rank treason.
