TORONTO
IN SOME CIRCLES, that Toronto even pushed Boston to seven games and held a lead late into the third period was viewed the worst thing that could have happened to the organization at that point, because it gave the braintrust a false sense of hope. Instead of recognizing the Leafs were a poor possession team in need of a drastic remodelling, Toronto merely tweaked things that summer, bringing in veterans such as Dave Bol-land and David Clarkson. The Clarkson contract ended up being a disaster, while Bolland's effectiveness was limited by injuries and he was soon gone for sunnier locales (literally, to Florida). Reimer's fall from grace in Game 7 led to the Jonathan Bernier trade, costing the team Frattin, Ben Scrivens and a second-round pick. Now, imagine if Reimer helped…

“THE MAPLE LEAFS WILL STEADFASTLY STICK TO THEIR PLAN OF A SLOW, METHODICAL AND PROPER REBUILD WE'VE BEEN HEARING A LOT ABOUT guarantees lately. Well, quasi-guarantees anyway. Alex Ovech-kin didn't come out and actually say the Washington Capitals would win Game 7 against the New York Rangers. He said they were going to "come back and win the series." The San Jose Sharks and Todd McLellan parted ways after seven seasons, the Philadelphia Flyers bid adieu to Craig Berube, and the New Jersey Devils were in the market for a new coach after finishing the season with the three-headed hydra of Lou Lamoriello, Adam Oates and Scott Stevens. The Buffalo Sabres and Toronto Maple Leafs wished Ted Nolan and Peter Horachek the best in their future endeavors, and the Edmonton Oilers thanked Todd Nelson for his work behind their bench, then made a move in McLellan's direction. Oh, and there were still lingering questions about the job security of Claude…

MED BALL REACH
> This is one of Nichol’s personal favorites, an ideal exercise to develop single-leg balance 1. Put weight on left leg with right leg back and locked straight; hold medicine ball in front of chest 2. Keeping back flat and right leg straight, bend at waist while lifting back leg by squeezing glute 3. Reach forward with medicine ball 4. Return to start position, then reach above head with medicine ball while bringing right knee up 5. Perform same exercise on right leg…
