KINGS IN THE HUNT AGAIN
THE KINGS weren’t able to repeat as Cup champions, but a return to the final is reachable again. They have the horses to get the job done: Anze Kopitar, Jeff Carter, Dustin Brown, Mike Richards and Justin Williams. They’ll insert rookie Tyler Toffoli into a prominent role. The blueline is among the NHL’s best, especially on the right side with Drew Doughty and Slava Voynov. BUFFALO RAMPING UP THE OFFENSE
THERE IS potential for a lot of offense on Ron Rolston’s squad. Thomas Vanek leads a deep group of scorers, including Cody Hodgson, Tyler Ennis and Mikhail Grigorenko. They need more from Marcus Foligno, Drew Stafford and Ville Leino. The defense is led by underachieving Tyler Myers, while Ryan Miller holds down the fort in goal. Buffalo has faith in No. 2 man Jhonas Enroth. TOP 10 PROSPECTS *Bold indicates good candidate for 2013-14 roster POWER ZONE Looking to dominate your pool in various categories? ROSTER RE-SHAPE YET AGAIN
THE FLYERS are knee-deep in offensive talent, so adding Vincent Lecavalier only adds to the mix. He’s the perfect bridge between Claude Giroux and younger centers Brayden Schenn, Sean Couturier and Scott Laughton. One of them will play wing. Kimmo Timonen will have help on the power play in Mark Streit. The Ray Emery/Steve Mason crease tandem will be fun to watch.
