GABRIEL LANDESKOG IS STILL a full year away from being able to legally consume alcohol in the U.S., a fact that makes his stature as one to watch for in future editions of The Hockey News’ People of Power and Influence list somewhat curious. But Landeskog isn’t your normal 20-year-old young man. The Swede is entering his NHL sophomore season, but after a rookie campaign that started with 22 goals and 52 points in 82 games for the Colorado Avalanche, continued with five points at the 2012 World Championship, and ended when Colorado gave him the captaincy this past September, it’s clear Landeskog is preternaturally mature and a power-wielder to keep your eyes on.
