That’s because MacA rthur – or ‘The General’ as he’s known online – is addicted to the war simulator Call of Duty: Black Ops. Pond-ering Something Fun

Nothing says outdoor hockey like frozen feet, a cup of hot chocolate and a bunch of people from Puerto Rico. Or the Netherlands. Or Libya. Plaster Rock, a small village in northwestern New Brunswick, will once again host the World Pond Hockey Championship from Feb. 10-13. The kitschy event, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, has captured the imagination of skaters from all over the world. This year’s derby features 120 teams in the open division, plus a 10-team ladies division, all hoping to have their names engraved on Stanley’s little cousin, the Goodwill Cup.
